Course Description
The speaker will identify the top cyber security exposures witnessed in the field for public entities and review the best practices for mitigating those exposures. Speaker: Colette R. Klier, CISA, CPFA, CAISS, A+
Colette Klier is the Senior Manager of Cyber Risk Services at Sedgwick. She has 25 years of experience in cyber security and the information technology field. The Cyber Risk Services program provides proactive and post-incident cyber consultative services to ten risk Pools across four states. The Cyber Risk Services team has a total of 113+ years of cybersecurity and information technology experience and holds a total of ten cyber security and information technology certifications.
Colette is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) with ISACA, Certified Professional Forensics Analyst (CPFA) with Network Intelligence, Certified Artificial Intelligence Security Specialist with Ampcus Cyber, and A+ certified (A+) with CompTIA. She was also selected for Sedgwick’s 2019 Most Valuable Player Award and Future Con’s 2022 Award of Excellence in Cybersecurity.
With an educational background in computer network administration and criminal justice, Colette has a broad understanding of information security and is experienced working to enforce and enhance security measures for various types of public and private industries including venture capitalism.
Colette’s team provides cyber risk assessments, IT assets inventories, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, cyber insurance application planning, cyber presentations, podcasts, newsletters, security awareness training, vCISO services, breach drills, and tabletop exercises along with much more.
